A lot of my inspiration comes from the beauty of nature, and this project was no different. I was inspired by the elements; fire, water, and earth. Unfortunately air had to miss out this time around. I drew my motifs by hand, and scanned them into a program called Kaledio weave, where I cleaned them up, created repeats for the bakgrounds and progrmmed them to be sent to the weaving machine.
